Ronald Reagan: THOU SHALT NOT SPEAK ILL OF A FELLOW REPUBLICAN

Ronald Reagan popularized what is known as the 11th Commandment:  “Thou shalt not speak ill of a fellow Republican.”

This rule is not meant to discourage healthy debate over policy or political philosophy between Republican candidates for office.  Rather it is intended to discourage personal attacks against other Republicans which tend to divide the party and provide comfort to our real opponents.

That’s why I’ve said that uniting the Broward County GOP should be our first priority.  I’m attaching a link to the Sun-Sentinel article in which I’m quoted on party unity, as I announce my candidacy for Chairman of the Broward Republican Executive Committee (BREC).
